Seeking PT live-in nanny

Kiddo needs an energetic caretaker while I work. I need someone on Mondays and Wednesdays with occasional nights and weekends. We live near MAX so a car is not needed but a valid drivers license is required. We have OMSI and zoo passes and encourage nanny to go on outings with kiddo.
Your living space is the top floor of my house with your own gorgeous bathroom. You also have a shared kitchen and living room downstairs.

I pay you per hour for childcare and also on-call hours. If you can provide these hours then rent is much less than your pay.  My current nanny is leaving to pursue her career with more hours at school and her other job. We need someone in September or October 1st at the latest.  Background check required. Email with any questions you have. nancyzink@hotmail.com

Childcare Available in Beaverton

Your child will enjoy spending time in our home because my childcare philosophy includes modeling good character (honesty, caring, loving, patience and sharing).  I believe that children should be spoken to and about with compassion and respect.  My work experience includes K-2nd grade teacher, counselor and current stay-at-home mommy to a 15 month old little girl.  Your child will enjoy playing with his/her new friend because she has been taught to share and really wants some friends to play with.  Your child will enjoy singing, games, arts & crafts, reading, healthy snacks and a fun, positive and caring environment.  We have a playroom with lots toys, a big castle play house and a leveled reading library. First Aid, CPR & child abuse prevention training completed.   While I was in college I was a nanny and lifeguard.  Excellent professional references.

My educational background consists of a B.A. in Psychology, M.S. in Counseling, teaching credential & school counseling credential.  I am also a children's book author & illustrator.

SAHM looking to add another child

In am a SAHM looking to stay home with my two daughters a while longer. I have a 4 year old that will be attending preschool at our church and I have a 2.5 year old daughter. I am looking to help another parent out and watch their child in my home. I love to go to the park, zoo and omsi. I was a infant/toddler teacher for 7 years, worked for head start and for Portland public schools. I am just not ready to go back to work yet, but will have to if I dont find a solution.

I live in the beaverton area and am not looking for a houseful just enough to be able to stay home. I believe smaller groups are better for care. Non smoking/no pets home

Looking for a preschool recommendation for 2 year old girl

Hi,

My husband and I originally planned to start our daughter in preschool at three, but we recently found out that we're pregnant (happy surprise) and now want to start her in the fall.  She'll be 2 years and three months in September and she's not yet potty trained.   Does anyone know of a good preschool that might work for our situation?  Preferably in the NE?

Thanks!

P/T Professional Care for Your Sweet Pea (NE Pdx)

Hi,

I, along with my wonderful 15 month old son would love to enrich your child's life through play and adventure, consistent and positive care, lots of opportunities to grow and learn! I am thinking about 10-15 hours a week in your home to make it most convenient for you.

Working with children and families is my passion and my career! I have extensive experience with children birth-5 and a thorough knowledge of early development, the importance of secure and positive attachment with caregivers, and the essence of learning through play and exploration. I provide children with activities that are developmentally appropriate, provide opportunities to learn, are TV Free, outside when possible, include art/music/books.

I am really excited about the wonderful experience your child and my son could have together in my care. I know I can facilitate a positive and rewarding relationship between the two. I have worked with many families with two or more children and have learned the fine art of balancing the different needs and desires of multiple children.

I would love to hear from you if you would like to chat, if you have questions, if you think you might want to do a trial "playdate". mendozamoore@yahoo.com Thanks!
